Joel Davidson, known as JD, kicked off his career immediately after graduating from the University of Miami, delving into sales for a prominent tennis equipment company. He specialized in selling sporting goods to tennis stores and major department stores, overseeing the entire state of Florida.
After gaining a solid understanding of the industry over a few years, Joel received an enticing opportunity to become a partner in Ragtime Collections, a jacket company. Here, he played a pivotal role in designing and selling jackets to boutique stores and major chains across the United States.
With approximately four years of experience in the clothing industry, Joel transitioned to the wholesale grocery sector. His venture quickly gained momentum, establishing connections with every major grocery chain in the country and achieving an annual revenue of over $50 million by the time he exited a decade later.
Joel's entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore the lead generation business. It was during this phase that he met his current business partner, who possessed the direct response marketing expertise that complemented Joel's connections. Since their partnership's inception in 2019, the duo has not only endured but flourished in the ever-evolving world of performance marketing.
Joel Palazuelos

Joel Palazuelos, known as JP, boasts nearly ten years of extensive expertise in the realms of performance marketing and lead generation. His professional journey began in the corporate marketing sphere at a young age, ultimately leading him to his true passion for performance marketing and client acquisition. JP possesses a well-established track record in direct response marketing, with a particular emphasis on developing scalable case generation campaigns tailored to the legal sector, including mass tort and personal injury cases. He has hands-on experience collaborating with law firms and managing scaled mass tort campaigns with daily budgets reaching six figures. At the helm, he leads our dedicated team of media buyers and intake agents, all of whom are wholeheartedly committed to achieving our performance goals while maintaining an unwavering commitment to ethical practices and compliance standards.

Sofia's journey from Buenos Aires to Los Angeles is a fascinating one. Starting as a bilingual agent in a call center at the age of 19, she gained early exposure to communication skills. Her educational pursuits led her to study communications at Buenos Aires University, providing her with a solid foundation in the field.
Life then took her to Mexico City, where she started a career as a TV producer and screenwriter, and also published her first writing pieces. During her time in Mexico City, Sofia collaborated closely with brands, sponsors, and television marketing teams, showcasing her versatility in the creative and business aspects of her field.
After five years in Mexico City, the next chapter of her adventure unfolded in Los Angeles, California, where she enrolled in film writing courses at UCLA. During this period, she joined forces with the Joels, actively participating in the inception of their legal marketing business, initially contributing as a quality control specialist, later in the role of an affiliate manager, and ultimately ascending to the position of Head of Operations. This journey showcases Sofia's diverse talents, spanning from bilingual communication and writing to film production and the dynamic world of online marketing.

Michael Mendola, a business graduate from Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, brings over 20 years of experience in call center management. He started his management career with Outbound Media in New York, providing customer service for multiple DTC brands. After his tenure with Outbound Media, he moved on to manage one of the most successful education call centers in New York City.
In June 2010, Michael transitioned to All in One Source in Los Angeles, CA, where he managed a team specialized in high-ticket B2B sales for private clients. Michael has played a crucial role at The Joel Company since its foundation in 2019, serving in an essential capacity as the Director of Intake and Quality Control, overseeing the performance of our call center based in Los Angeles.

Faizan brings seven years of rich experience in software engineering. His journey encompasses crafting robust applications across various platforms, with a particular focus on PHP-driven solutions and adeptness in iOS and Android technologies.
Since joining the Joel’s in 2018, his primary focus has revolved around seamless API integrations, user experience, and fine-tuning tracking systems. He strives to optimize marketing initiatives, bolstering online presence and driving a coherent consolidation between all of our technologies.

Camilo brings a diverse background in client relations, back-office operations, and legal support to his role as Paid Media Specialist at The Joel Company. With early roots in international customer service and a proven track record of navigating platforms like Avaya, Five9, Zendesk, and Smart Advocate, Camilo is recognized for his ability to merge technical expertise with thoughtful, strategic communication.
His career has been shaped by adaptability, precision, and a commitment to excellence, whether reviewing sensitive legal documents or supporting multidisciplinary teams. At The Joel Company, Camilo plays a key role in executing paid digital campaigns that drive leads and results for our legal partners. He helps strategize, launch, and optimize ads across platforms like Google and Meta, ensuring that our message reaches the right people at the right time.
Guided by a strong foundation in project management and time optimization, Camilo is passionate about building meaningful connections that support business growth and about using data-driven media strategies to deliver justice at scale.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Lucia earned her bachelor's degree in film from Buenos Aires University. A skilled illustrator with animation, graphic design, and video editing expertise, she has collaborated with the Joel's since 2022. Initially involved in quality control, Lucia now serves as the creative director, working closely with Joel Palazuelos and Sofia Lustig on our digital marketing efforts.

Aljon Sorilo is a visual storyteller with a background in business and a lifelong passion for the creative arts. A graduate of Richwell Colleges with a degree in Business Management, Aljon discovered his love for design and video editing early on, starting with sketching and painting as a child and eventually building a career in digital media.
Before joining The Joel Company, Aljon worked in social media management and video production at Wonder Digital Marketing and Meral Arts. Today, he brings that experience to our creative team, where he produces compelling video content that supports legal outreach and brand storytelling, combining thoughtful design, narrative clarity, and technical precision.
